About six months ago, a time when life was simpler, I asked my roommate Travis what the best song to wake up to is. This was his answer. The Faces were an English rock band formed in 1969. Their final studio album was Ooh La La in 1973. Rod Stewart had been a member of The Faces for quite sometime, but by the time Ooh La La was released he had mostly separated from the band and did not participate in the making of this song.
Everyone knows this song, but I can't exactly figure out when it got so famous. I guess it's just one of those songs that is completely a part of our culture.
